Setting up Appointment Types is essential for customers who want to use the Public Booking Diary feature. Appointment Types determine the services your customers can book and ensure the diary functions seamlessly.
Steps to Set Up Appointment Types
Navigate to Public Booking Settings
Go to Settings > Public Booking on the bottom left-hand side menu of Workshop Software.

1) Add a New Appointment Type
In the Appointment Types section, click the plus (+) button on the right-hand side.

Fill in the Appointment Type Details
You can create as many appointment types as needed.
To make sure that your appointment type syncs to VVGarage you must fill out all 3 fields:
Estimated Hours: This must be greater than 0.
Product Code: This must be a valid Workshop Software LABOUR product.
Description: Enter the name of the service or appointment type.

2) Select a Valid Product Code
When choosing a product code, ensure you select a valid Workshop Software product from the options provided. Valid product codes will display a black product tag icon on the left-hand side.


3) Save Your Changes
Once all details are entered, click Save to finalise the appointment type.
