Workshop Software allows you to create templated wording that can be added into invoice notes, job card notes, and description fields. This article explains how to add a previously created template to an invoice.
Please refer to the Create templates for invoice notes guide for step-by-step instructions on setting up templates.
Step 1: Open the Template Selector
- On an open invoice or job card, scroll down to the invoice notes section.
- Click the Add Template button located on the bottom right-hand corner of the invoice notes field.


Step 2: Select a Template
- Select the template you want to add from the list.
- Highlight the template and click the green Select button.

Step 3: Review and Edit
- Once the template has been added into the invoice notes, you can further edit or add to the text as needed.

Good to Know
- You can print, email, or SMS the invoice to your customer once it is ready.
- Double-check the details on your invoice before finalising to ensure accuracy for your customer and your records.
- Templates can be added to invoice notes, job card notes, and description fields.
