How to integrate your Mailchimp account to Workshop Software

Integrating Mailchimp with Workshop Software allows you to sync your customer database with Mailchimp for email marketing campaigns. This means you can send service reminders, promotional offers, and newsletters to your customer base without manually managing contact lists.

  4. Enter your Mailchimp API key and click Save.
  5. Select the Mailchimp audience (list) you want to sync your Workshop Software customers to.

What Gets Synced

Once connected, Workshop Software will automatically sync customer contact details to your selected Mailchimp audience. This includes:

  • Customer name and email address
  • Phone number (if available)
  • Custom fields you have configured (see Mailchimp field names for details on field mapping)

New customers added to Workshop Software will be automatically added to your Mailchimp audience. Updates to existing customer details will also sync across.

Tips for Using the Integration

Segment your audience — Use Mailchimp’s segmentation features to target customers based on the data synced from Workshop Software (e.g., customers who haven’t visited in 6 months for a re-engagement campaign).

Service reminders — Set up automated email campaigns in Mailchimp to remind customers about upcoming services based on their last visit date.

Troubleshooting

If customers are not syncing to Mailchimp, check that your API key is still valid and that the selected audience has not reached its subscriber limit. If the issue persists, disconnect and reconnect the integration from Settings > Integrations.
