Create a bundle (kit)

A great way to save you time from entering the same products in to every major service is to create a generic bundle/kit. This allows you to enter just 1 product code and Workshop Software will automatically include the required associated products/services that are required for that job.
Please note: When creating a bundled product (a kit) the individual parts and/or services that make up the bundle need to have been entered first, please see the guide titled ‘Adding a Product’ if you need any assistance in adding a product or service. Once the individual parts and/or services have been entered you can create your bundle. Bundles do not work for supplier invoices.
1. Click on ‘Products’ from the list of options on the left hand side of the screen Products menu option in Workshop Software left navigation sidebar 2. Select the ‘+’ symbol at the top right of the screen to create the bundle Plus icon button to create a new product at the top right of the Products screen 3. Click on the ‘Standard’ button at the top left of the page to change it to ‘BundledStandard button at the top left of the product page to switch product type Product type changed to Bundled mode showing bundle configuration options 4. Enter the details of the bundle.  Only the

is required, all other fields are optional.  Once you have entered the details you need then click on ‘Save’ so you can then had the individual products and/or services to the bundle.
Please note: with the Type Field you can choose which type you want this bundled listed as. HOWEVER we do not recommend setting it as Labour, especially if the bundle will also have a labour line in it as this will create 2 bookings in the Booking Diary.
