Steps to Make Bookings on a Mobile Device:
1. Set Up Your Online Booking Diary
First, set up your online Public Booking diary with the appointment types available for booking. For guidance on this setup, refer to the following guides: How to Set Up the Public Bookings and Public Booking Diary – Setting up Appointment Types
2. Copy the Public URL Link
Once your online Public Booking diary is set up, copy the Public URL link on your mobile device web-browser.For iOS Devices (iPhone or iPad):
1. Open Safari and Enter the URL
Open the Safari browser and enter the Public URL. Press the blue Go button on your keyboard.

2. Add to Home Screen
Once the page has loaded, tap the Share icon (a box with an arrow). In the pop-up window, scroll down and select Add to Home Screen to create an icon on your Home Screen.
3. Name the Link
Give the link a name (e.g., “Bookings”), which will appear on your mobile home screen, and tap Add to confirm.
4. Access the Booking Page
You will now see an icon on your home screen called “Bookings.” Tapping this icon opens the Safari browser to the online booking page, letting you make bookings on any mobile device without logging into your Workshop Software account. You can also share this link with others, allowing external contacts to create booking requests and helping you attract new customers.
Repeat for iOS Tablets
The same process can be repeated on an iOS tablet.
Manage Bookings in Workshop Software
Bookings made through this mobile link will appear as booking requests in your Workshop Software dashboard.
You must accept each booking for it to be added to your Booking Diary.
