The mechanic performance report in Workshop Software helps you review and analyse your mechanic performance data in one place. Running this report gives you a clear snapshot that you can use for business decisions, record keeping, or end-of-period reviews. Follow the steps below to run this report from the Reports section.
The Mechanic Performance report provides a breakdown of a mechanics performance on each invoice by showing for each mechanic;-
- Invoice number

- Vehicle rego

- Hours worked

- Hours charged

- Amount charged

- Gross profit

- Profit per hour
2. Click on the down arrow icon to the far right of the blue Mechanic Reports menu to expand the menu;
3. Enter the date range you want the report to cover and if you only want a summary showing just the totals for each mechanic the click on the button under Summary so that it says ‘YES’. Click on the ‘green printer’ icon at the far right to generate the report, the report will open in a new tab and can then be printed;

- Use the date filters to narrow the report to a specific period. This is useful for monthly or quarterly reviews.

- This setting can be toggled on or off at any time. The change takes effect immediately once you click Save.
