Integrating Select a Bank Account in Xero for a Payment Method XERO ONLY with Workshop Software connects the two systems so data flows between them without manual entry. Once set up, this integration saves time and reduces the chance of errors when working across platforms. Follow the steps below to configure the integration.
PLEASE NOTE: This functionality is only available on our Gold level subscription and to customers that integrate with Xero. 1. Go the the tabs on the left hand side of the screen and select ‘Settings’ then ‘Company Lists’.
2. Scroll down to the ‘Payment Methods’ section.
3. You can choose from your existing Payment Methods or create a new one by pressing the plus symbol.
4. Press the edit button on your chosen Payment Method.
4. Once you have pressed edit, a drop down box will appear in the Account column of the table. Please select the account that you would like these payment types to sync into.
5. Once you have chosen your specific account you must then press Save on the Payment Method on the right hand side.
6. You must also scroll down and press Save at the bottom of the Company Lists page.
Good to Know
- You can find this option under Settings > Company Settings in the left-hand menu.
- Make sure you click Save after making your changes. If you navigate away before saving, your changes will be lost.
- If you experience any issues during setup, contact the Workshop Software support team for assistance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I undo this change to the invoice?
You can update the invoice again by following the same steps. If the invoice has already been finalised or synced to your accounting system, contact your administrator about the best approach.
What do I do if the integration is not working?
First, check that your credentials are entered correctly and that both systems are accessible. If the issue persists, check the event log in Workshop Software for specific error messages, or contact the Workshop Software support team for assistance.
Can I disconnect this integration later?
Yes. You can disable or disconnect the integration at any time through the integration settings in Workshop Software. Disconnecting does not delete any data that has already been synced.
