How to integrate with Vehicle Visuals

This guide walks you through connecting your Vehicle Visuals account to Workshop Software so you can use interactive vehicle diagrams in your quotes and inspection reports.

Prerequisites

  • An active Vehicle Visuals subscription
  • Workshop Software on Silver tier or above
  • Admin access to your Workshop Software account

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Log in to Workshop Software and navigate to Settings from the left sidebar.
  2. Select Integrations from the settings menu.
  3. Find Vehicle Visuals in the integrations list and click Connect.
  4. Enter your Vehicle Visuals API key. You can find this in your Vehicle Visuals account under Account Settings.
  5. Click Save to activate the integration.
  6. To verify the connection is working, open any job card in the Job Centre and look for the Vehicle Visuals icon in the toolbar.

Using Vehicle Visuals on a Job

  1. Open a job card in the Job Centre.
  2. Click the Vehicle Visuals icon to launch the diagram tool.
  3. Select the relevant vehicle diagram and mark up the areas that need attention.
  4. Save the diagram — it will automatically attach to the job card.
  5. When you send a quote or inspection report to the customer, the diagram will be included.

Troubleshooting

If the Vehicle Visuals icon does not appear on job cards, check that your API key is entered correctly in Settings > Integrations. If the issue persists, contact Workshop Software support.
